Michael Piner

Michael Piner is a seasoned media executive and visionary leader with 26 years of big NYC agency experience.  He’s one of the leading voices when it comes to the new TV model and an early pioneer in driving the development of advanced advertising capabilities industrywide.  As a result, he was named Ad Age’s 2020 Media Planner of the Year for using next gen-data and technology to break media investment boundaries. Michael specializes in large multi-brand advertisers across major categories such as Automotive, Entertainment, CPG, and Restaurants.  Prior to joining Mediahub, he was SVP of Strategic Investment for Magna Global.  In this role, he drove IPG Mediabrands aggregated investment strategy, negotiation, and partnership management across IPG’s portfolio of agencies, advertisers and brands.  In addition to the above, Michael is a frequent visionary voice on media industry panels, discussions, videos, and press interviews.  He currently represents IPG Mediabrands on the recently formed Joint Industry Committee (JIC) to advance the standardization of alternative video currencies and the Go Addressable industry initiative to accelerate the growth of addressable TV.  He also sits on several video partner advisory boards and is and an active IAB member.
