Moritz Hoffmann

As Managing Director, Moritz Hoffmann oversees all retail media activities at the pilot Agency Group across all locations. He supports advertisers in integrating retail media measures into their media planning and advises retailers on developing their own data and media inventories. Pilot’s clients include Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and OBI.

Previously, Moritz worked for the delivery service Gorillas as General Manager Germany and was also responsible for all e-commerce and advertising activities as Senior Director Global Retail Media. His career also includes management roles at platforms and digital marketplaces such as Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd. and Deliveroo.

As Chairman of the Retail Media Ecosystem focus group at the German Federal Association of the Digital Economy (BVDW – IAB Germany), Moritz is dedicated to achieving industry-wide standardization and comparability of retail media with other media types, and to creating transparency regarding infrastructural development opportunities for retailers.
