Johannes is Senior Environmental Program Manager at A1 Telekom Austria Group with almost 10 years of experience in environmental management, climate impact assessment, ESG strategy development and execution. He has a proven track record of driving corporate sustainability and ESG initiatives, adeptly navigating both start-up and corporate landscapes. Johannes holds degrees in environmental and sustainability management as well as economics. Before joining A1, Johannes worked, among other things, as a climate and energy model region manager and managed national and international transformation projects in the sustainability environment as a management consultant.

Currently Head of Financing and Circular Economy at Orange Business, I have successfully launched innovative programs such as the RE program (Refurbished, Recycling, Repair) and “Circular Mobility” while establishing strategic partnership with key industry players. Over the past few years, I have gained solid experience in creating activities in the telecom sector on organizational transformation, strategy, marketing, partnership and innovation topics, for which I have successfully led key initiatives and achieved significant results. He is responsible for defining the Group´s circularity strategy, goals, targets and KPIs.  Henning has 20+ years of experience in the telco industry and has held various positions in the field of strategy, telco regulation and governance. He holds a PhD in Economics.

Clare Egan is the Head of Sustainability at rebuy, the European market leader for used media and electronics. With two decades of experience spanning the aviation and consumer electronics industries, Clare has held senior positions in finance and strategy. Now, she spearheads rebuy’s efforts in repair and sustainability, driving initiatives that align with her deep commitment to circular business models, waste reduction, and the advancement of sustainable practices across the industry.

Paulo Almeida is the Head of the Refurbished project at Worten, The portuguese leader in Electronics Retail, and top 3 in Iberia. With degree in Management and Industrial Engineering, in the last 15 years was managing areas as House Hold Appliances, IT and Telecom in the Commercial Division of teh company, having been in 2017 the first manager starting some tests with refurbished products in a big retailer. Today is leading the project of ReUse, focused in repair and sell 2nd hand products.

Andrii Kosar is the CEO of Breezy, a full-cycle provider of sustainable solutions for tech device trading, dedicated to the circular economy and extending the lifespan of gadgets. Breezy’s services include Trade-In as a Service for large retailers, telecom operators, and e-commerce platforms, as well as tech device buyback, ITAD, and DaaS for enterprises. Refurbished devices are processed at Breezy’s facilities and returned to the market through partners and the company’s own branded retail.

Under Andrii’s leadership, Breezy has expanded its partner portfolio to include over 45 authorized
Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi resellers, covering more than 4,500 stores. With over ten years of

Michael Schmelcher is passionate about innovative, tech-driven solutions in sustainable refurbishment.

With over 10 years of experience in IT remarketing, Michael has led teams and projects focused on extending the lifecycle of used IT and reducing e-waste. His clear mission: to preserve natural resources through smart reuse and sustainable business models.

After earning his Master’s degree, he previously held senior positions at AfB and now serves as Managing Director at GEWA IT Remarketing / Multimedia in Switzerland.

Thomas is CEO and Co-Founder of circulee GmbH, a B2B Green-IT pioneer, which provides companies
with highest quality pre-owned IT Hardware and adjacent services. He has 15+ years of experience in
building and scaling digital businesses, leading such work at McKinsey and PepsiCo among others.
Thomas holds a Master of Engineering and a Master of Public Administration. He is also a passionate
angel investor.

Adrian Preda is the Vice President of Operations at Swappie, Europe’s leading destination for refurbished
iPhones. He leads Operations and Customer Service across multiple countries, driving efficiency, automation, and exceptional customer experiences. Adrian is committed to building scalable systems,
fostering high-performing teams, and ensuring sustainable growth within a strong workplace culture.

Previously, Adrian held key operational roles at THG and Amazon, where he launched advanced robotics
fulfillment centers in the UK, managed teams of up to 2,000 colleagues, and delivered multimillion-pound
savings through Lean Six Sigma and process improvement initiatives. At Amazon, he spearheaded
large-scale quality and cost improvement programs for Alexa Data Services, enhancing AI model training
and contributing to making Alexa smarter.

Kilian Kaminski is one of the three founders of refurbed. Prior to founding the company, Kaminski served as the Head of the Amazon Certified Refurbished Program and as the New Key Account Manager for the largest electronics retailers at Amazon Germany. He studied Communication and Business Administration in Hamburg, Shanghai, and London. In 2019, he was selected, along with Co-Founder Peter Windischhofer, for the Forbes “30 under 30 Europe” list. Additionally, he was recognized as “Capital Top 40 under 40” in 2020 and 2021, and in 2023, he received the “EY Entrepreneur of the Year” award. Kaminski is also a board member of the European Refurbishment Association and serves as the Chair of the Communication and Membership Working Group. He regularly speaks at conferences, panels, and other events, addressing legislative foundations of the electronics industry, opportunities and impact of the circular economy, and his mission to establish refurbishment as a third consumption category between “New” and “Used.”

Seven years of experience in operations and supply chain, specialized in circular economy topics. As a Circular Solutions Manager, I focus on enhancing product sustainability and circularity through initiatives such as take-back programs, refurbishment processes, DIY repairs, spare parts harvesting, and other circular projects.

Andreas Mayer has more than 25 years of experience in the European IT sector, having worked at IBM, Lenovo and HP, among others. Prior to co-founding Trusc he served as CEO for  FlexIT one of the largest circular IT companies in Europe. Previously Andreas was a Senior Director EMEA at HP in Geneva and worked for more than 14 years in various senior leadership roles at Lenovo in Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. 

Alex Burghelia is a co-founder of Flip.ro, a Romanian startup that promotes the circular economy through refurbished mobile phones. Since 2019, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth, marketing strategy, and brand presence, contributing to its expansion and impact in the industry.

Strategic and impact-driven senior leader with 15+ years of experience optimizing operations, supply chain, logistics, and sales. As Head of Strategic Growth at Revendo, I drive cross-functional teams to scale the business and create synergies that unlock new market opportunities. With a strong background in economics, I combine analytical thinking with strategic vision to make fast, data-driven decisions that drive sustainable success. The circular economy is personally close to my heart and for the past 16 years I have built various brands, concepts, production, etc. around the circular economy.

The last 5 years have passed with refurbished devices and buyback side. First I built the Telia Finland refurbished concept “Recycled” and buyback product. For the last two years, I managed the entire Telia group devices circular economy, expanding that all 6 Telia countries sell and buy devices on the b2c and b2b side.

At the beginning of the year I jumped to the other side of the fence to help more broadly, gathering all the lessons I have learned along the way. I lead RCK Finland’s circular economy business and we are one of the largest and fastest growing circular economy operators in the Nordics. I am very happy about the new role because help is needed very widely in both the b2c and b2b sectors.

Tibor Foti is the founder of Telcos, a leading distributor of high-quality refurbished smartphones. Previously, he played a pivotal role in introducing major smartphone brands such as Honor, Nothing or OnePlus in Central Europe. Under Tibor’s leadership, Telcos continues to set new standards in distributing high-quality refurbished smartphones, blending his tech expertise with a commitment to sustainability.

Alexandra Asanache is a dynamic marketing strategist and sustainability leader with extensive international experience. As an EMEA Sustainability Consulting Lead at Lenovo, she has developed tailored IT decarbonization roadmaps and led high-impact sustainability workshops for Enterprise and Global Accounts. She played a pivotal role in launching the Lenovo TruScale brand globally, showcasing the sustainable advantages of the as-a-service business model.

Previously, as Marketing & ESG Director at the APAE Federation of the State of Espírito Santo in Brazil, Alexandra revitalized the brand, diversified revenue streams, and established a robust quality assurance and certification process. Her work not only elevated operational excellence and future-proofed the organization but also raised awareness and fostered inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities, further amplified by her service on the Legislative Committee for Human Rights.

Alexandra’s expertise in merging innovative global strategies with sustainable business practices, alongside her commitment to cultural and NGO initiatives across Europe and Brazil, positions her as a thought leader at the intersection of business growth, environmental responsibility, and social impact.

Alex joined Assurant in 2021 as managing director for the Connected Living business, and promoted to country manager, Germany in 2022. Alex leads business and drives further development in the D/A/CH region by creating products and services to meet the needs of consumers. He is responsible for all business activities and budgets and, together with an interdisciplinary, cross-border team, develops strategies to optimize existing client relationships and acquire new clients in the D/A/CH market.

Alex manages client relationships while co-designing and implementing a joint business model along Assurant’s value chain, especially focusing on the logistics chain for device repair, trade-in and upgrade solutions, and developing innovative, localised, consumer-focused protection products and services.

Prior to joining Assurant, Alexander Heß served in the role of head of Consumer Electronics Protection, Northern Europe for AXA Partners. His previous roles include positions at other insurers, including R+V Insurance, Chubb European Group and AXA Versicherung Deutschland.

Adam Ferguson leads the consumer insights, product marketing and proposition functions at phone maker HMD. Over the last few years he and his teams have been on a journey to understand and meet the growing needs users and businesses have in the rapidly developing circularity segment. His work focuses both on the user insights and end proposition, but also the change needed within a business to fully set up for and capitalise on circularity and its benefits.

Adrien Serres is the Country Manager in Germany for Recommerce Group, the European enabler of the circular economy. Entrepreneur, Manager, Digital Transformation Expert, Mobile App Pioneer (since 2009 !), Geek, Sales and marketing Automation Developer, Creative and Art Direction fan. He is also the President of La French Tech Düsseldorf he co-founded in 2023. Previously CEO of Wazapp, a leading and innovative mobile agency creating great apps for great clients for 10 years ! Sold Wazapp to Tymate in June 2019. He holds a Master in Communication from Paris University II, Major with a thesis on the Mobile App industry.

Vânia Guerreiro is the Head of Brand Communications & Sustainability at iServices, the leading company for smartphone repair and refurbished electronics, in Portugal. With a strong background in communication, she has been shaping the brand’s strategy, ensuring a dynamic presence in the market. Jordan spearheads the Refurbished Product Strategy and Customer Experience initiatives at Vodafone UK, bringing over 12 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Emeka Nwadike is a seasoned Circular Economy Industry Expert with over 25 years of experience in the mobile and technology sectors. As the Head of Commercial at Mazuma Mobile, he leads continued growth of the Mazuma UK business, whilst also spearheading further expansion into European markets.

Before joining Mazuma Mobile, Nwadike co-founded Mobi Market, a secondary market reseller in 2016, which was later acquired by Twig a UK Fintech in a Multimillion Pound deal in 2022.

Godert van Heijst is Development Manager Circular IT & Innovation at Flex IT Distribution. He has been active in the field of refurbished IT since 2001, starting under the Infotheek banner and later serving as Chief Operating Officer at BE Networks.

With over two decades of experience in circular IT hardware, Godert is a strong advocate for sustainable innovation within the industry. His focus lies in extending the lifecycle of IT equipment and developing scalable, future-proof solutions that deliver both economic and environmental value.

Marianne is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Circularity, the do-tank for the circular economy. Together with the Circularity team, she works with business leaders to develop circular solutions and build partnerships across value chains for their implementation. She has over eight years of experience working with the circular economy, with a particular focus on its practical implementation in companies and industries.
IT and consumer electronics has been an important focus sector for the past three years. In the annual program CiCEL – Circular Consumer Electronics, which now runs in the second edition, Marianne and her team facilitate the exchange and collaboration between actors along the electronics value chain. In the industry project UNDRESS Circularity, Circularity is working with 12 corporate partners to assess the impact of rental and second-hand business models in the electronics sector.
Previously, Marianne was Head of Sustainability at Grover, a product-as-a-service provider for electronic products, and worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in Berlin.
Marianne holds a doctorate from ETH Zurich, where she focused on the circular economy transformation and is still involved in various projects with ETH’s Group for Sustainability & Technology.
She also holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and has completed extensive training in design thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute. As a consultant and jury member, she supports numerous national and international circular economy initiatives, incubators, companies, and investors. Guian began his professional career in 1992 as an Emerging Markets Trader at Société Générale, where he was responsible for opening new business lines in Central and Eastern Europe.

In 1996, he joined SPB Group, where he held various positions over 30 years until becoming the group’s General Manager in 1999. In 2012, he founded Save Store and combined the company’s development with his role at SPB Group until 2024. Since then, he has been focused on expanding the Save Store network, growing and diversifying the company’s B2B programs in France, Spain, and Poland, and promoting the circular economy and customer-oriented approach.

Eric Griffin is a Philadelphia-based entrepreneur and the co-founder of Mobile Outfitters, a global brand known for its innovative on-demand screen protection solutions. A former youth debate trainer and international exchange organiser with YEU International, Laili has long been committed to civic dialogue and structural change. She later gained commercial leadership experience in retail, B2B technology and the circular electronics sector, where she served as Sales Director. Berit was positioning Grover´s Tech Subscriptions in the german consumer electronics industry over the last 6 years, with Grover as a pioneer in offering consumer electronics subscriptions to end consumers, Berit have built strategic partnerships with germanys biggest OEM´s and retailers to establish consumer electronics subscriptions for a wide field of people in the CE market.

She has over 10 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry. Before Grover, Berit worked for Vestel, a turkish home and professional appliances manufacturing company specialized in consumer electronics, major appliances and information technology. 

There, she managed the private label business for Germany’s biggest retailer and e-tailer. After Vestel Berit was launching the CARRERA Brand with a small domestic appliances portfolio in the DACH market.

Jan is a seasoned entrepreneur who launched his first company, Pecumax, a B2B SaaS business, right after graduating from the University of Mannheim in 2003. In 2008, he sold Pecumax to CHECK24, Germany’s largest price comparison platform. Following the acquisition, Jan served as CEO of CHECK24 Insurance from 2008 to 2012, leading a team of over 250 employees.

Eric van Uden has a long experience in the world of Broadband networks in Europe. This ranges from design of the physical infrastructure to the actual protocols now used in FTTH. Eric has a technical background in Tele- and data communications. He has been working at AVM since the year 2000 and his responsibilities include AVM’s commercial activities within the provider world in the Netherlands. AVM is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of products for broadband connections and the digital home. Since the year 2023, Eric joined the “Executive Advisory Board” of the BroadbandForum.

Martijn van Heeswijk is a Corporate Development Principal at Vinted – the largest consumer-to-consumer marketplace for secondhand fashion and related categories. At Vinted, Martijn leads Corporate Development projects, including strategic M&A, investments & partnerships. Kaie Kaas Ojavere is the CEO and Co-founder of KIUD Technologies, a material technology company turning textile waste into high-performance, reusable packaging. With 20+ years in fashion management, supply chain operations, and international brand development, Kaie brings deep industry expertise to the circular economy space.

At KIUD, she leads the mission to replace single-use packaging with durable, recyclable, and reusable alternatives — already in use by clients across Europe, including Scandinavia’s largest telecom, Telia.
Her passion lies in helping companies align their waste streams with packaging needs, transforming used textiles into smart, sustainable packaging solutions.

At RETECH DAYS, Kaie will share how telecom and circular commerce leaders can cut packaging costs and emissions — while elevating customer experience — through practical reuse systems.

I have nearly 25 years’ experience in the e-waste and batteries waste management sector in
Europe having initially owned and run a large e-waste recycling plant near Liverpool and later
a battery collection company providing collection containers, guidance, and collections
(1250+ locations) across the UK and onward dispatch to various EU battery treatment
facilities. I have a BA Degree in Government Policy, and a Foundation Degree in teaching
business English as a foreign language. Prior to working in the e-waste/battery sector I was
an environmental and planning paralegal lawyer for a large UK solicitors.

I have been a key player in the development and implementation of the WEEE and Battery
and Accumulator Directives in the UK since 2005 and was appointed by the UK Minister for
Environment to the WEEE Advisory Board in 2008 to implement the Directives into UK Law. I
was appointed by the British Standards Institute as their Technical Expert in 2008 to actively participate in the CENELEC development of the EN50625 E-Waste Treatment and EN50614 E-Waste Preparing for Re-use standards (Convenor). I am also an active participant in the Global Electronics Council review of the EPEAT Standard and participate in the electrotechnical groups within the R2 Standard.

I was Europe’s first approved lead auditor for the Certification Body The WEEELABEX
Organisation (2009) and set up a successful and busy specialist auditing company (Really
Green Credentials) covering the continent of Europe. From that time up until the end of 2021
I performed or oversaw over 700 e-waste and re-use and battery sector audits.

At the start of 2022 I gave up the auditing work as I was appointed as the Chief Executive
Officer for the European Electronics Recyclers Association (EERA) – www.eera-recyclers.com
and I now oversee the Association assisting the Board with the lobbying, financial, corporate,
and strategic management requirements on behalf of the Members.

At the start of 2024 I also became the Secretary General of the European Battery Recycling
Association (EBRA) – www.ebra-recycling.org carrying out similar management tasks as for
EERA. The two Associations have many similar areas of interest and hence the synergy
between them works well for this joint role.

I work closely with the European Commission, IMPEL, Environmental Agencies and the UN in
areas impacting EERA and EBRA Members including the review of the EU WEEE Directive and
the Batteries Regulation, the Critical Raw Materials Regulation and the Waste Shipments
Regulation and the Persistent Organic Pollutant Regulation. I also actively collaborate with
similar associations such as the BIR, ReMA, EuRIC, FEAD and FER on a European and global
basis.

Kasper Nørgaard is Remarketing Manager at Egiss/Refurb.eu, where he leads commercial strategy alongside marketplace and distribution sales across Europe. With nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry – and almost 10 years focused on refurbished IT – Kasper brings deep industry insight into building scalable and sustainable remarketing solutions. He’s passionate about making refurbished electronics a first choice through transparency, accessibility, and great customer experiences.

Rui co-founded Luxclusif in 2013, pioneering its evolution from a B2B pre-owned luxury trader into a category enabler. Luxclusif offers data-driven resale solutions, empowering brands, retailers, e-commerce platforms, and stores globally to buy and sell pre-loved luxury. From trade-in programs to technology facilitating online resale, their end-to-end circular solutions support sustainability for partners and the wider luxury fashion industry. Luxclusif was acquired by Farfetch Group in 2021.

Darrel Arjoon is the founder of Reuse Technology Group, a pioneer in sustainable IT asset management and a strong advocate for the circular economy. With a background rooted in both technology and environmental responsibility, Darrel has led the company to become a trusted name in IT reuse, data security, and carbon-conscious logistics.

In his stint at Currys Rishi was responsible for driving the Commercial Strategy for the Consumer Credit business – where he launched the first credit propositions for Currys refurbed products.

He currently works as an independent consultant for Tech, E-Commerce, Fintech, Saas businesses looking to scale up and grow their operations.
His roles at Apple, Nokia and Currys have given him a perspective of the potential for the circular economy market with OEMs and Telecom Operators.

Paul is Head of Business Development at BoBee Robotics, a pioneering company within the Marguerite Group focused on automation solutions for the smartphone refurbishment industry. With over 13 years of experience in the repair industry, I bring technical insight and operational expertise to the fast-paced world of consumer electronics. With a foundational background in finance, I combine analytical precision with industry know-how to drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency. As part of 2Service, Europe’s leading spare parts distributor, I play a key role in shaping strategic partnerships, supporting the repair ecosystem and driving 2Service’s growth throughout Eastern Europe.

I’m currently leading the Devices Management team at A1 Croatia.

My role focuses on managing the full lifecycle of our device portfolio (CPE devices, mobile devices, and additional hardware) — from vendor and supply planning to ESG initiatives and cost and revenue management. I’ve spent over a decade in various supply chain and logistics roles across industries like telecom, manufacturing, and FMCG, always with a strong focus on process improvement and strategic planning. I hold an MBA from Algebra e-Leadership and degrees in quality management, organization and management sciences from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb.

Owain Griffiths is the founder and CEO of Grade Mobile, a UK-based mobile technology company established in 2014. Grade Mobile operates as a UK MVNO, a national Trade-in service provider, and a developer of proprietary reverse logistics systems that support the circular economy for mobile devices. The company also provides subscription-based mobile services and handles large-scale distribution and refurbishment.

With a background in compliance and governance, Owain holds a diploma in Corporate Governance and has applied this expertise to shaping the company’s internal structures, regulatory alignment, and operational framework. Under his leadership, Grade Mobile has expanded its footprint in the UK and European markets through strategic partnerships and technology-led solutions.

Dominic Strauli serves as the Commercial Director at Grade Mobile, bringing over two decades of senior leadership experience within the global mobile circularity sector. He has held pivotal roles at some of the most recognisable names in the industry, including iSmash, a leading high street repair and refurbishment chain, and Genuine Solutions, a prominent distributor of mobile device accessories and sustainable technology solutions.

Dominic’s extensive background includes consultancy for major mobile network operators and OEMs, where he has delivered strategic guidance on circular economy practices, reverse logistics, and resale optimisation. His insights into market dynamics, product lifecycle extension, and commercial structuring are instrumental to Grade Mobile’s position as a best-in-class distributor and subscription provider.

Jaime is a sustainable packaging expert with over 10 years of experience. He leads market expansion at KIUD and Paperfoam, bringing eco-friendly solutions to new markets. As an independent consultant, he advises companies on packaging strategy, environmental impact reduction, and circular economy alignment.

Mihai Craciunescu, CEO and co-founder of Adapta Robotics, combines deep expertise in robotics, automation, and engineering with hands-on experience building advanced automation solutions for real-world problems. From R&D to product development, he’s leading a team of professionals turning complex challenges into practical solutions. Sheila Ibáñez Fontarosa is Senior Manager of Value Added & Circular Supply Chain Services at Telefónica. Throughout her career in the telecommunications industry, she has specialized in procurement and supply chain management, leading strategic transformation projects and supplier development across Europe and LATAM. In her current role, Sheila focuses on embedding circular economy principles across the supply chain by driving innovation, collaboration, and sustainable value creation. She is passionate about technology and its potential to improve everyday life.

Jordan Notenbaum is a seasoned leader and entrepreneur who has shaped the mobile repair and parts distribution industry for well over a decade. Beginning in 2011, he launched and scaled a chain of 20 mobile phone repair stores across the U.S. before exiting in 2018. In parallel, he co-founded Mobile Defenders, which rapidly became one of the largest mobile parts distributors in North America and the first to establish OEM supply partnerships.

Under his leadership, Mobile Defenders secured key relationships with all major OEMs, insurance providers, and leading repair chains. After multiple strategic equity transactions—including partnerships with a family office and a Fortune 500 insurance company—Jordan and his partners sold the company to MobileSentrix in 2022. He now serves as President of MobileSentrix, the industry’s dominant parts provider, with operations in the U.S., Canada, India, China, and a new U.K. office opened in 2025.

Jordan is widely recognized for forging transformative B2B deals and pioneering large-scale industry collaboration across the global repair ecosystem.

Jonne Hellgren is a co-founder of a team that built the world’s first reusable packaging system for consumer-facing e-commerce and knows that packaging plays a big role in making recommerce a success. 

Petri Piirainen is a founding member of RePack and an award-winning industrial and packaging designer. His work has received multiple international recognitions for both sustainability and design excellence.
