Dr. Philipp Gattner is the CEO of rebuy recommerce, one of Europe’s leading recommerce companies focusing on consumer electronics and media. rebuy positions itself as a quality leader, aiming to move the recommerce market from niche to mass market. Philipp holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Gallen, a master’s degree from the London School of Economics, and completed a PhD at the University of Witten/Herdecke. Prior to joining rebuy, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey.
He is the Country Manager in Germany for Recommerce Group, the European enabler of the circular economy. Entrepreneur, Manager, Digital Transformation Expert, Mobile App Pioneer (since 2009 !), Geek, Sales and marketing Automation Developer, Creative and Art Direction fan. He is also the President of La French Tech Düsseldorf he co-founded in 2023. Previously CEO of Wazapp, a leading and innovative mobile agency creating great apps for great clients for 10 years ! Sold Wazapp to Tymate in June 2019. He holds a Master in Communication from Paris University II, Major with a thesis on the Mobile App industry.
